PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
In addition to payment of fees, parents are invited to : Attend working bees which assist with the general maintenance of the Kindergarten. Some tasks include, weeding, sorting, repairing, sweeping, and generally keeping the yard tidy and safe. Volunteer to spend some sessions with your child at the kinder. Volunteer days are a time for parents to attend kinder with their child to see what happens at kinder. It is an opportunity to see the program in action and to understand how we plan to achieve our aims. You will also have the opportunity to assist the children with activities, enjoy snack time with them and help with some tidying up. Wash hand towels and smocks (4 year old group). Parents can also assist by: Joining the Committee of Management-a committee is responsible for the day to day running of Croydon Central Kindergarten. The main qualification for membership is enthusiasm and the desire to work for the benefit of the children at the Kindergarten. All parents are welcome to contribute. Supporting fundraising- helps to keep fees as low as possible, and allows the kindergarten to upgrade the kindergarten. |
